「素问」第六回展

从最早的“回到原点,从心出发”,《素问》系列展览一直坚持用“最原始”、“最朴素”的创作方式,探寻素描之于绘画,素描之于艺术的深层意义,并试图从探讨中寻找启示,以“素描用于思考”来展现艺术家们的思路以及风格语言的形成。《素问》展览中强调的作品,是以区别于传统习作素描的创意性素描为主,它是画家以素描的方式与世界的灵性对话,表达自己的思想、感情、灵觉以及精神境界,是一种独立存在的纯粹的艺术门类。《素问》第六回展邀请了多位蜚声艺坛的艺术家,如:“何多苓、庞茂琨、徐芒耀、郭润文、李晓林”等,同时邀请了数位艺术前辈与后起之秀,他们一同让此次展览的作品变得更丰富、更多元。

一般来说,以铅笔、木炭等为创作材料来造型、表达,是偏西方的素描方式;而以水墨为主要材料来创作,就是偏东方、中国式的朴素表达。这一次《素问》展览兼而有之,力图通过材料和工具的不同应用,丰富素描之语言,素描之形式。甚至还有混合木炭、水墨、油画颜料的创作。综合材料的运用,顺应时代,而同时,《素问》朴素的创作方法,又是坚持“回到原点,从心出发”的有力佐证。

正如多米尼克·安格尔所说:“素描者,艺术之正德也”。《素问》已经迎来了它的第六回展,在前进的步伐中,我们也在成长。它在坚守的同时,亦将变得更加丰富多元。

From the opening theme of "returning to the origin, starting from the heart", the "Sketching" exhibition series has always adhered to the use of the "most primitive" and "simplest" creative methods to explore the profound significance of sketching for painting and art, and to draw inspiration from the exploration. They give full expression to the artists' thinking and stylistic language from the perspective of "sketching for thinking". What we still emphasise is that the "sketching" works are mainly creative sketches that are different from traditional exercises, each of which is the painter's dialogue with the spirituality of the world in the form of sketching, revealing his thoughts, emotions, spiritual perceptions and spiritual realms. It is an independent, pure art form. In addition to a number of well-known artists who have participated in all previous "Sketching" exhibitions, such as Leng Jun, He Duoling, Pang Maokun, Xu Mangyao, Guo Runwen and Li Xiaolin, the 6th edition of "Sketching" will also feature several senior artists and emerging talents.

Generally speaking, works that use pencil and charcoal as creative materials for modelling and expression tend to follow the path of Western-style sketching, while those that use ink as the main creative material tend to follow the path of Chinese-style simple expression. This time we have both, trying to enrich the languages and forms of sketching through different applications of materials and tools. We even have creations with a mixed use of charcoal, ink and oil paint pigments! By using a mixture of materials, we are keeping up with the times, and at the same time, the simple creative method of " Sketching" is a strong proof of our adherence to the theme of "returning to the origin, starting from the heart".

As Dominique Ingres said: "Drawing is the probity of art". "Sketching" is now celebrating its sixth exhibition, a testament to our progress. Staying true to its original aspirations, "Sketching" is expected to become even more colourful and meaningful.
