太和艺术空间荣幸宣布,我们将于2024年9月20日至10月20日带来《情感觸摸的現實——李潔作品展》,展览汇聚了艺术家近二十多年来创作的四十余件作品。本次展览的策展人由廖雯担任,展览开幕式将于9月28日下午3:00举行。

李洁喜欢把螺丝钉、零碎物品、蔬菜瓜果之类的东西堆在一起,颇有耐心地勾勒它们的轮廓。因为物品堆放得乱七八糟,关系错综复杂,所以她需要一点一点去分析、剥离,才能把看到的景象描绘出来。这种细致又漫长的创作过程,就像用手轻轻触摸这些物品。最后呈现的画面记录了她深情的情感流露和对生活的热爱。通过她的情感触摸,这些看似普通的物件也变得像丝绸般柔和,雅致而内敛。

The Reality of Emotional Touch

李洁的作品,都是在相对封闭的环境和状态“打磨”出来的。与许多同样处境下的人,只面对自己内心的状态不同,李洁面对的是现实,现实的环境,现实的事物,现实的被大多数人忽略的细枝末节。李洁以最朴素的白描的方式细致的描绘着这一切,从废弃的螺丝钉,杂乱的零碎物品,平凡得不能再平凡的蔬菜瓜果,到拆迁覆盖废墟的网布,仿佛以细腻的情感触摸着粗糙的现实,让现实变得柔软、精致、灵动,而且赋予感情。

Li Jie’s artwork is created in relatively quiet and closed-off environments. Unlike many people who focus solely on their internal emotions in such environments, Li Jie also engages with the world around her. She observes closely the places, those miscellaneous objects around her, and the often overlooked details of everyday life. Using simplest and most straightforward strokes, she carefully captures everything—from discarded screws, random bits and pieces, everyday vegetables and fruits, to the mesh fabric that covers the demolition rubble. It is as if she delicately touches the coarse reality with deep emotion, softening it and making it more delicate, refined, with the touch of the aura of spirit.

早些年,李洁把螺丝钉、零碎物品、蔬菜瓜果种种,堆放在一起,用白描细细勾画它们的轮廓,物品随意堆放造成了层层叠叠错综复杂的关系,需要极具耐心一点一点地分析剥离才能描绘,这个细致而漫长的过程,犹如一点一点地触摸,而描绘过程便是触摸时情感投入的记录。画面最终呈现出平淡而温和,单纯而繁复,被情感触摸过的现实,由粗糙变得细腻,由冰冷变得温暖,由无生命变成有生命的活物,最终被收进内心。这样的作品,李洁画了很多年,日复一日年复一年的打磨,几乎成为她日常生活非常重要的组成部分。

In Li Jie’s earlier work, she would pile up screws, fragments of everyday objects, vegetables, and fruits. She then meticulously drew their outlines. The way these objects were randomly placed created a complicated and tangled scene, which required a lot of patience to study and unravel. The process of drawing was like slowly touching these objects, and the artwork became a record of the emotions she felt. The final the painting would present a scene that is plain yet gentle, simple yet intricate. The reality touched by emotion transforms from coarse to delicate, from cold to warm, from lifeless to alive, and is ultimately internalized. Li Jie created such works for many years, diligently refining them day after day, to the point where it became an essential part of her daily life.

近些年,李洁把视野投注到更为社会化的现实层面,她选择了当下处处可见拆迁废墟的覆盖网布。城市的极速拓大和改造,使得外沿不断扩展,大面积的拆迁成为常态。拆迁后的废墟,不仅残破不堪而且飞土扬尘,一时又难以新建,于是不知道从何时开始,就在拆迁的废墟上覆盖上塑料的网布。网布大部分上绿色的,也有少数黑色的,十分廉价,网布的形态随着下面的废墟无规则起伏,面积大了,还是非常怪异。这样的景象,虽是临时的但却是活生生的现实中随处可见的,包裹着我们的生活空间乃至生活本身。李洁以她一贯的触摸手法,将这种粗糙得不能再粗糙,廉价得不能再廉价的“现实”,一丝一丝细细地描画,粗糙和廉价的网布,经过她情感的触摸过,变得像丝绸一般温润和灵动,像文人画一般雅致和内敛。

In recent years, Li Jie shifted her focus to more socially engaged realities, choosing to depict the mesh fabric that covers demolition sites, a sight ubiquitous in contemporary life. As urban areas expand and undergo rapid redevelopment, demolition becomes frequent. These sites are often left in ruins, with dust and debris scattered everywhere, and new buildings are not immediately constructed. At some point, plastic mesh fabric began to cover these sites. Most of the mesh is green, with some in black, and it’s quitecheap. The shape of the mesh undulates unpredictably over the debris, and on a large scale, it creates an odd and unsettling visual. Though temporary, this is a stark reality, woven into our living spaces and daily lives. With her characteristic approach of emotional "touching," Li Jie painstakingly sketches this crude, cheap “reality” strand by strand. Under her emotional touch, the coarse, cheap mesh becomes as smooth and flowing as silk, elegant and restrained like traditional Chinese literati painting.

与前些年基本忠实于物品具象的形不同,李洁近些年的网布系列,摒弃了网布写实的形,画面处理看似很抽象,与内心感觉的对应更直接,预示着李洁从具体的事物脱离出来,不断寻找与现实即疏离又密切的交织,从而获得真正意义上的心灵回归。李洁的绘画方式太朴素也太安静了,然而李洁并没有逃离和躲避现实,她只是以自己的方式默默地观察着现实,描绘着现实,进入现实。

Unlike the earlier years when she stayed true to the concrete form of objects, Li Jie’s recent mesh series abandons a realistic depiction of the object’s shape. The treatment of the image seems more abstract, more directly aligned with her inner feelings. This transformation suggests that Li Jie is moving away from the tangible, constantly seeking the intertwined relationship between alienation and closeness to reality, ultimately finding a true sense of spiritual return. Li Jie’s approach to art is incredibly simple and quiet. Yet, she has not fled or avoided reality. She merely observes, depicts, and immerses herself in reality in her own quiet way.

事实上,真正孤独过的人才知道自己最需要的是什么。如今还能以此心性面对现实的艺术家是稀有的,因为这是一种奢侈。

In fact, only those who have truly experienced solitude know what they need the most. Artists like Li Jie, who can still face reality with such a mindset, are becoming something rare today—because it is a luxury.
