对可称为第三代的新作者来说，从这些基础上出发，与中国流行有紧密的联系。何杰是1977年出生的，到2000年开始活动，属于第三代新人作家，但其基础受到中国流行的遗产也不能忽视。属于与他一样的世代的韩国，日本乃至欧洲，美国年轻人具有共同的感觉，不难发现个人主义及世代图标。国际化这一浪潮风靡于东方三国乃至全世界，受此影响很自然。尽管如此，但何杰的作品所具有的范围及阴沉的气氛，具有独一无二的世界。这是不能忽视的。

从何杰的作品上可发现的巨大的空间感觉及中国具有的社会梦想，对此独特的解释就是在与以前世代共同的地方上让人觉得不一样的感觉。这可说是在共同特点中独资性。他的作品所具有的特点首先是照片式的视角。瞬间性，短片性及一般来说从照片上可发现的光线的微妙的把握呈现。不是光明的白天，而是黎明的瞬间被蓝色的基调来表现雾蒙蒙的线条。

另外一个特点就是雕塑性。将雕塑移到绘画的作品不少。巨大的雕像如此，从雕像上出现的单色调染上了整个作品。在路上见面的战争及革命的英雄长大的体验扎根在他作品的主要动因，对象被雕像化，对他来说，幼年及少年时代的梦想很像雕像的英雄，将他们不能圆的梦想自己来解决的几个装置——例如，向英雄的方向添加巨大的龙，鱼或战斗机等。说韩国或日本的儿童将机器人作为一时代的图标，也可说何杰将路上的铜像作为自己的图标，通过这些年来将时代的梦想与自己的梦想融为一体。

于此同时，出现的另个一特点就是即物性想法或视角。一方面将在巨大的结构物里面睡觉的热的欲望突然突出，诱导预料不到的情况，另一方面冷冰冰的结构物突然像长出翅膀地爆发的能源的喷出相当具有即物性。不难发现这里面有现代叙事。

The face that the new artists of the 3rd generation start from such background is coherent with the Chinese pop.He jie,born in1977,has been working in the field since 2000s so is considered a rookie,but his background has directly inherited the chinses pop.Mainly it is not difficult to find the bond of periodical icon and individualism as the universal sensation of his same generation,the young people from the neighboring countries of Korea and Japan as well as Europe or the United States.The wave of globalization is swaying the whole that they are influenced by it.Meanwhile one must note that the scale and gloomy atmosphere of He jie’s work has its own world incomparable to any other thing.

The huge sense of space discovered in He jie’s work and the personal interpretation of the social dream of China can be considered some characteristics that differentiate from the previous generation while being similar to it.It is identity at the center of community.One characteristic can be the photographic vision. Instance,simplicity and the subtle grasp of light found generally in photograph are clearly displayed.Each moment of dawn rather than bright daytime display vague outlines due to the blue basis.

Another characteristic is sculptural shape.There are quite a few works that have been translated from sculpture to painting.It is a gigantic commemoration statue,and the solid color tones on it fill the whole artwork.The experience of growing up seeing the heroic figures of revolution and war on the streets has settled as the main motif for the artist’s work,displayed as the characteristic of commemorating the objects.His dream during the childhood and adolescence was to resemble the heroes of commemorative statues,and to newly add various devices to solve the dream they could not achieve,such as a large dragon,a fish,or a combat plane toward the heroes’direction.If robots like Taekwon V were the icon for Korean and Japanese children,the statues on the street were the icon for He jie,through which he aimed to harmonize the dream of the period with his own.

何 杰

1977年生于湖南，2000年毕业于鲁迅美院油画系，获学士学位，同年任教于鲁迅美院附中，2005年毕业于鲁迅美院油画系，获硕士学位。现工作、生活于北京。他的绘画涉及历史学、社会学，以及艺术家的个人记忆和对社会价值的思考，艺术家希望他的作品能直接反映出他本人反思社会的结果。
